The poster of the short film “Childhood”, written, directed and produced by Leila Nikzad, was unveiled on the occasion of its selection for the national narrative section of the 41st Tehran International Short Film Festival.
Leila Nikzad, who has worked as a screenwriter on films such as “One Kilo and Twenty-One Grams”, “Singo”, “Sudden Cut” and several other short scripts, has made “Childhood” in her second directorial experience after the short film “Animal”, starring Bakhtiar Panjei, Selin Hosseinpour, Mohammad Hossein Armideh and Hermineh Barsani in a border area in West Azerbaijan Province.
The short film “Childhood” will be screened on Friday, October 17 at 8:30 PM, Saturday, October 18 at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 20 at 6:00 PM and Tuesday, November 1 at 3:30 PM at the Mellat Cinema Campus. Audiences can purchase tickets for this short film through the iTicket system.
The story of the film “Childhood” is about a father who decides to take his young daughter, who is the last survivor of his life, across the border with a specific plan and save her from war.
